About Nippon Cargo Airlines

In December 1959, Nippon Yusen Kaisha, Osaka Shosen Kaisha, and Mitsui Steamship Co., Ltd. decided to form an air cargo company, with cooperation of Japan Airlines.

In November 1970, three other companies, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Yamashita-Shinnihon Steamship, and All Nippon Airways decided to undertake a separate initiative to establish their own international cargo airline.
