The history of Rohde & Liesenfeld which was incorporated in Hamburg Germany in 1954, involves expansion into a multi-national network of Rohde & Liesenfeld offices in the period of 1954 – 2008.
In 2008 the network was sold to Geodis Wilson (with the exception of Rohde & Liesenfeld Canada). From 2008 until 2015 Rohde & Liesenfeld Canada Inc. operated as a 50% partner with Geodis Wilson.
On May 1, 2015 Ro Li Canada Inc. acquired the 50% shareholding of Geodis Wilson and is now a 100% Canadian owned company. Rohde & Liesenfeld is now on a new expansion to develop a multi-national cargo network of offices worldwide.
Ro Li Canada Inc. was incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act on June 19, 2001, (Corporation number 391028-8 and Registered in the Province of Alberta under Corporate Access Number 219480647).
Rohde & Liesenfeld is a federally incorporated Canadian company, with their network of offices and air and ocean hubs in over 50 countries, having a strong presence in Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific region offices as well as in the Middle East and in Africa.
R&L Canada’s offices are strategically located in Calgary and Vancouver, with approved agents providing for local handling in other Canadian cities.
R&L is a member of the Canadian International Freight Forwarder’s Association (CIFFA) and the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association (SC&RA).
