PortCheck was founded in 2008 to provide on-line rate collection services. We are an entity of the West Coast MTO Agreement, and its schedule is filed with the Federal Maritime Commission.
We provide online fee collection services for the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach’s Clean Truck Program. The Clean Truck Program, a component of the Ports’ Clean Air Action Plan (CAAP), assesses a Clean Truck Fund Rate (CTFR) on non-exempt containers. CTFR funds are used as designated by the Ports in the CAAP.
PortCheck Advantages
Users paying the CTFR register with us, submit their container numbers, and pay on-line with a credit card, an eCheck, or with a credit account. We notify the container terminals in the Ports once the transactions are completed.
