PayCargo, a leader in online freight payments, announced today the appointment of Leonardo Hanon as Executive Vice President of PayCargo since February 2018.

“Leo is the perfect choice to expand the Air Cargo payment business, since he brings a solid professional and entrepreneurial background into the mix given his solid relationship with CNS/IATA and a good track record of 20 years in the aviation industry.”

Mr. Hanon is spearheading Air Cargo online payment platform for Imports in the U.S., as a result of Partnership Agreement recently signed by Cargo Network Services Corp. (CNS) and PayCargo. He will be dedicated to working with the airlines on integrating the accounting and operational systems to communicate directly with the PayCargo-CNS system for real time payment information to be available. Mr. Hanon will also be involved in the overall branding and marketing of the solution to the Air Cargo marketplace.

According to Eduardo Del Riego, CEO at PayCargo, “Leo is the perfect choice to expand the Air Cargo payment business, since he brings a solid professional and entrepreneurial background into the mix given his solid relationship with CNS/IATA and a good track record of 20 years in the aviation industry.”

The New PayCargo-CNS System will become the online payment processing engine for expedited payments at U.S. stations of participating Airlines for Import Service Fees, as well as other additional incidental fees normally collected before an importer can retrieve their cargo from the airport facility.

With the PayCargo-CNS System importers will be able to make online payments within minutes and the payment data will flow to the Airline immediately allowing the importer to pick up their cargo at the airport facility within one (1) hour. The Airlines will receive their funds from PayCargo-CNS overnight and see their funds in their bank the next morning.
