In 1989, Aeroméxico and Mexicana created the company Aeromexpress SA de CV, to pool cargo activities for both air transportation carriers. In 1992, with International expansion efforts, the company launches of USA/MEX cargo operations.
In 2007, the company demonstrates unparalleled growth, as it consolidates itself as the largest logistics operator in Mexico. The company is trading freighter flights on a regular itinerary, charter operations and cargo handling in the belly of 200 Aeromexico and Mexicana aircraft.
In 2012, the company’s name evolves and becomes Aeromexico Cargo. Leading company in the air freight market in Mexico.
