Draft Cargoways India Private Limited was established in India in the year 1996 to offer LCL Import & Export freight consolidation services. Draft Cargoways was among the first in India to start offering LCL import consolidation services out of Singapore.
From mid-1998, Draft Cargoways commenced Direct Export consolidation services from Indian ports to European base ports of Felixstowe, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Genoa, New York, Los Angeles & Houston in USA, Vancouver & Toronto in Canada, Jebel Ali, Dammam & Doha in the Middle East, ISC (Chittagong & Colombo), Far East (Shanghai, Busan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Port Klang, Surabaya, Jakarta) & Australia (Sydney & Melbourne). In May 2003, Draft Cargoways USA received its NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) license from the Federal Maritime Commission and started its USA operations providing Door to Door Logistics Services to its wide customer base.
In September 2010 Houston office was added to serve the Oil & Gas Industry. The Company is a premier logistics company in this space and offers time-bound & cost-competitive door-to-door logistics solutions to the Oil & Gas Equipment OEM suppliers. During 2010, the Company also incorporated its Australian office in Sydney to handle Consolidation and freight forwarding services. Draft Cargoways today handles over 10,000+ Teus in global trade across these 3 offices. The Company is working on expanding its business in new trade lanes covering South America & African markets to further serve our customers rising demand for shipping movements from these Geographical locations.
