In 2008, TDK Logistics and Metro – Seacon terminals amalgamated to form TDK Metro Terminals (TDK Logistics Ltd.), giving the customers the benefits of a combined half century of exceptional service delivery!
Metro – Seacon was started in 1969, and has been providing CY and CFS services in Metro Vancouver for steamship lines, exporters and importers ever since. Like TDK, Metro Seacon is widely known for the ‘personal service levels’ that the customers appreciate, and have come to expect. The bringing together of the two companies is a natural fit, providing increased capacity and capabilities.
TDK Metro Terminals is on Annacis Island, centrally located between Vancouver’s major ports. The facility is located in the transportation center of the Vancouver/Lower Mainland region. Major transportation arteries converge at their locations, allowing them to service not only all of the local shipping terminals, but the majority of industry in the region.
