This portal, powered by PayCargo and the Gnosis Freight’s Container Lifecycle Management® Platform, will serve as the primary TraPac customer interface for OSRA compliant payment activities related to the settlement of US import demurrage charges for ZIM American Integrated Shipping Services Co., LLC.

The Container Payment Portal currently services demurrage payments for ZIM American Integrated Shipping Services Co., LLC.
Soon, the portal will be used for all TraPac on-terminal and gate fees. The go-live date for these services will be communicated in Q2 2025.
Customers will have access to a Container Watchlist, which provides full container status event visibility & key milestones such as Last Free Day (LFD) management throughout the Container Lifecycle from port of origin—through marine and inland rail terminals, including rail transit. By entering a pick-up date, the portal will dynamically calculate any demurrage & detention fees due, and registered users can conveniently settle charges using their PayCargo account.

The “Paid Through Date” (PTD) is the date through which the container charges have been settled—whether by payment of fees, allocation of free time, or a Carrier release process. This date is also referred to as the “Good Through Date” and extends beyond the original “Last Free Day” (LFD).
To request additional free time, the CPP Dispute Management module allows for immediate Carrier communications to request additional free time. Likewise, Payers can contact individual Carrier instructions on guidance on now to request Last Free Day (LFD) extensions.
To initiate a dispute, please provide notice of any dispute by 30 days from the date of invoice per the Federal Maritime Commission at https://www.zim.com/tools/detention-demurrage-and-freight-disputes

The portal is directly connected to TraPac’s Terminal Operating Systems, ensuring timely API communication, typlcally no more than 30 minutes.
Container Holds from the Carrier will be displayed as either “Line” or “Line Demurrage”. For any other holds, please contact TraPac’s Customer Service.
